Amal Clooney

Amal Clooney is an American-Lebanese barrister, human rights advocate and philanthropist. She was born Amal Ramzi Al-Amuddin. After graduating from Oxford University School of Law she went on to pursue a successful and long-lasting career in human rights as well as international law. Her notable clients include the people of Armenia that is fighting against the Turkish government for the recognition and apology of Armenia's Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney got engaged to and later married American actor George Clooney in 2014 instantly becoming a household name within the world of popular media. Years before this though she was already famous and loved in the legal world for consistently representing her clients effectively and with the success they have achieved. It is her job to represent multinational firms in court proceedings and negotiations concerning government regulations in addition to social justice or human rights.
